AMERICAN CIVIL WAR SOLDIERS 1861 - 1865

The war, the deadliest in American History, caused 620,000 soldiers deaths and an undetermined number of civilian casualties, ending slavery in the United States.

James M Hockridge Enlisted as a Private on 3 Dec 1862 at the age of 28 in Stockbridge, New York. Enlisted in Company F 176th Infantry Regiment New York on 18 Dec 1862.Served Union for New York. Mustered Out on 16 Nov 1863 at New York
John Hockridge Enlisted as a Private on 14 May 1864 at the age of 22. Enlisted in Company K, 13th Cavalry Regiment, Ohio on 23 Mar 1865. Served Union for Ohio.
Nelson Hockridge Enlisted as a Private in Company E, Harrison H-Gd Regiment Served Union for Missouri.
Sidney Hockridge Enlisted as a Private on 16 Jun 1861 at the age of 21, in Albany, New York. Enlisted in Company A, 34th Infantry Regiment New York on 16 Jun 1861. Served Union for New York. Mustered out Company A, 34th Infantry Regiment, New York on 30 Jun 1863 in Albany, NY
Wesley Hockridge Enlisted as a Private on 25 Oct 1862 at the age on 19 in Eaton, New York. Enlisted Company F, 176th Infantry Regiment, New York on 18 Dec 1862. Served Union for New York. Mustered Out Company F, 176th Infantry Regiment, New York on 16 Nov 1863 in New York
William Hockridge Enlisted as a Private on 11 Oct 1861 at the age of 24. Enlisted in Company 1, 3rd Infantry Regiment Minnesota on 11 Oct 1861. Died on 23 Sep 1863
