I cannot find her civil registration but there is a registration for Elizabeth Ching, I am wondering if her mothers name is Grace Ching but have no evidence at the moment to support this. Elizabeth married John Shute in 1881 (2) , her name was given as Elizabeth Ching Hockridge.

John Shute was baptised on 14 Nov 1852 (3) in North Hill, Cornwall. His parents are Abraham Shute and Mary Ann Cottle.

The couple spend the first few years of their marriage living in St Mellion, Cornwall, they moved to Clovelly between 1884 and 1886 where John worked as a Farmer at Eastcott Farm, by 1901 the family had moved to Great Cudworthy Farm in Dolton, Devon. John and Elizabeth had 7 children.
