Elizabeth was baptised Elizabeth Hockridge Adams on 24 Feb 1822 (1) in Kilkhampton, Cornwall, she was known as Betsy Hockridge. Elizabeth married Thomas Yeo on 25 Mar 1839 in Kilkhampton. Elizabeth married on the same day her younger brother William was baptised.

Thomas Yeo was baptised 16 May 1813 (1) in Kilkhampton, Cornwall. His parents are James & Grace Yeo.

Thomas and Elizabeth began married Life in Kilkhampton where Thomas worked originally as a Shoemaker and then a small farmer. Sometime between 1851 and 1856 the family moved to Prince Edward Island, Canada, living at Port Hill and Lot 14. Thomas I believe worked there as a Cobbler. The couple had 6 children.
