MARY HOCKRIDGE 1819

 

Mary was born about 1819, (1) in Mary Tavy, Devon but I can find no baptism. She married Richard Soper in 1849.(2)

Richard Soper was baptised on 27 Aug 1826 (3) in Mary Tavy, Devon. His parents are William Soper and Elizabeth Babbage.

Mary and Richard remained in Tavistock where Richard worked as a Copper Miner. As far as I can tell the couple had no children. The 1851 Census shows the couple with Mary's siblings as her parents had died before 1851.

Mary died 21 Apr 1865 in Tavistock.(4)
