Agnes Adelaide Glendenning was born 5 Jul 1852 (2) at Sea. Her parents are John Glendenning and Christina Read who went to Australia on the ship Omega from London on 29 May 1852 arriving at Port Adelaide, South Australia on 24 August 1852. Thomas and Agnes had 9 children.

Thomas worked as a builder and the following article appears in The Cyclopedia of South Australia, which confirms he was an immensely successful businessman.

Thomas died 4 Feb 1909 aged 57, Agnes died 28 Oct 1933 aged 81, their son Robert's name is also on the headstone.
