Thomas was born about 1778 (no baptism found yet, year of birth taken from age given at time of death, he was not baptised in Tavistock. He married Joanna Babbage on 31 March 1817 (4) in Tavistock, Devon. They had 7 children, 5 baptised in Tavistock, and two children whose baptisms I have not yet found.
