William was born 1860 (1) in Tavistock, Devon. He married Sarah Crews in 1885.(2)

Sarah Jane Crews was born about 1862 (3) in Tavistock, Devon. Her parents are John & Mary Ann Crews.

William and Sarah began married life in Morwellham Quay where William was working as a bargeman, in 1891 the couple had three children. By 1901 I can find no trace of them on the Census and assume they have moved abroad.
