William from the age given at the time of his death was born about 1774. The nearest baptism was for 11 Oct 1775 and this is the line I have taken for him. William married Jane Gilbert on 4 Jul 1799 (1) in Pancrasweek, Devon

Jane Gilbert was baptised on 11 Aug 1782 (1) in Pancrasweek. Her parents are John & Elizabeth Gilbert.

William and Jane lived initially in Pancrasweek, but moved to Kilkhampton sometime between 1810 and 1841. William and Jane had 7 children
